Grid Racers is a privately owned and operated virtual world environment running on the OpenSimulator multi-user 3D application platform powered by Dreamgrid software.

Grid Racers was founded and developed by virtual world residents, Heidi Solo and Wanda Macarthur, primarily out of their love for the sport of drag racing and socializing with fellow drag racing enthusiast and fans of the sport. One of our primary goals was to create and develop a scale model 1/4 mile (402.3m) drag racing track (a.k.a. dragstrip) on the OpenSimulator platform to host fun and competitive drag racing events for all who are interested.

Grid Racers is dedicated to those that love racing in any form and is inclusive to all who wish to enjoy racing in a fun and competitive, yet friendly and respectful environment.
